Hi, I'm Ayumi, the founder of Yum Yum Gyoza.

I grew up on Japan's beautiful Kyushu Island, where my parents own a traditional eel restaurant. From a young age, I was always in the kitchen, helping out and developing a love for cooking.

Gyoza has always been my favourite food as each one is like a little parcel of happiness. I love creating new flavours while staying true to authentic Japanese traditions.

Today, every Yum Yum Gyoza is handmade in Christchurch using fresh local vegetables from our farmers' market and premium meat from the local butcher. Combining the flavours of my Japanese childhood with the best New Zealand ingredients is what makes Yum Yum Gyoza so special.
